The Society for the Protection of Prespa has been working for more than 30 years to protect the natural and cultural heritage of the transboundary Prespa region. Through research, habitat management, collaboration with local communities, and applied science, we contribute to the long-term conservation of a unique landscape of worldwide significance.
Among our greatest achievements are the establishment of the Prespa Transboundary Park and the creation of the largest Dalmatian Pelican colony in the world.
We are looking for collaborators who can work in Prespa, in the following fields:
Biodiversity Research & Conservation
Fieldwork, scientific monitoring, species and habitat management
Communications & Digital Media
Strategic planning, content creation, management of channels and materials
Public Engagement & Education
Public participation activities, environmental education, volunteer coordination
Policy
Support for policy initiatives at national and transboundary levels
Administration & Financial Management
Support for SPP’s administrative and accounting work
