Preservation and Enrichment of the Flora Prespae Database
Since the creation of the Flora Prespae Database in 2023, which drew on the generous and longstanding work of world-renowned botanists, such as Arne Strid, the Society for the Protection of Prespa has continued its efforts to safeguard the plant wealth of the Prespa basin.
We maintain the physical archive of plant specimens at our facilities in Agios Germanos, as well as its digital counterpart online. At the same time, we continue to scientifically process and enrich the database, with the invaluable contribution of volunteer botanists.
