Produced by the Society for the Protection of Prespa, with the support of the Aage V. Jensen Charity Foundation, the Book of Pelicans uses exceptional photography combined with comprehensive and explanatory texts, transmitting to readers the wonderful world of the two species of pelicans found in Europe and Prespa, the Dalmatian pelican and the great white pelican. The book aims to communicate what the SPP has learned about these magnificent species and their conservation through its work, and was written by its scientific consultant and pre-eminent old-world pelican expert, Dr Giorgos Catsadorakis.
